  1. Midsummer offer and a yummy recipie to try.

    Hello folks,

    How did it come to be Midsummer's Eve already?!!

    Finally the weather has begun to realise it's June and everything green is bursting into life all around me. 

    I've eventually been able to plant up my flower plot too, once I built a 'rabbit proof' fence to keep the lovely flopsies out. I'd been gradually nurturing around 200 seedlings at home ready to go in and they were virtually bursting out of their pots so now they're finally IN. Fingers crossed they grow well. I've planted up Lavender, Chamomile, Marigolds, Cornflowers, Borage, Dill, and much more, watch this space for updates. 




    To celebrate the turning of the year, (and my hubs 50th birthday) I'm off for a little break until the end of June and wanted to offer a little something to you also.   2. New Limited edition soaps for Spring.

    Happy May!

    Now that the May poles have been safely stashed for another year and the Beltane feasts have all been consumed, it's time to start looking towards summer, what do you have planned?
    I'm hoping for a few adventures with my tent and a spot of skipping in meadows where I find them, not to mention thoroughly enjoying the birdsong right outside my studio door most days and trying to keep the bunnies from eating all my chamomile plants so I have some left for fragrant goodies later in the year. Fingers crossed for some warmth and sun in the coming months.

    Since my last newsletter, I've been busily creating some lovely new things for you. I have 3 brand new soaps in 3 packaging options...boxed, our usual wrap and samples. 
    The boxed option would be great for gifts. All our packaging is compostable and the papers for the wraps are handmade by the Frogmore Paper mill a traditional paper mill who add flower petals, wild flower seeds, sawdust and even shredded denim to their paper fibres. The papers are so beautiful close up too, I think I'll be rolling them out over the whole range.

    Into the Briny Deep handmade soap

    Imagine if you could breathe underwater...what would the briny deep smell like?

    Our brand new soap 'Into the Briny Deep' blends cool ozonic scents of juniper, eucalyptus and warming cedarwood essential oils with real dried bladderwrack seaweed for skin softening and conditioning, salts for gentle exfoliation, french green clay and rich plant butters and oils for amazing lather and the gentlest of cleansing. 

    Scrub onto a shower pouffe or directly onto the skin in the shower for a super gentle clean, you'll emerge with a soft, mermaid scented bod.

    Our brand new Vegan 'Rooibos & Calendula' handmade soap is formulated with beautiful red bush tea which gives it an amazing texture and colour. With the addition of red clay, these rustic bars help remove the dirt and grime of the day in the most gentle way. It makes the most amazing lather that is so gentle on the skin and rinses away cleanly.  The scent is blended with uplifting bergamot oil, grounding clary sage and exotic ylang ylang oils to clear the mind, refresh the body and comfort the soul.

    Golden Milk Handmade soap

    Our brand new Vegan 'Golden Milk' bar is rich and creamy with a delicate turmeric swirl through each bar. Turmeric is loaded with antioxidants and is known to have anti inflammatory properties, it also is reported to improve mood and be beneficial to heart health. 

    A whole box of nourishing coconut milk is combined with rich plant oils and butters to care for your skin while you wash leaving it scented with earthy cedarwood and calming clary sage oils. It makes the most amazing lather that is so gentle on the skin and rinses away cleanly.
