Chamomile and Rose Clay Mask for Dry Skin - 35g size

Facial skin is delicate and needs special care and attention, no matter what type you have.

I have found a simple yet thorough, cleansing routine with natural good quality ingredients works best for me, hopefully with the help of some of these products, it will work for you too x

Our Dry Clay masks are made with 100% natural and pure ingredients chosen for specific skin types, these masks allow you to tailor your skincare precisely to your skin's needs.

We make them dry so you can add the water or your chosen goodies to them when you need to use them. This enables you to use a completely FRESH mask every time, prolonging their shelf life, meaning there is no need for preservatives.

Our Rose geranium & Chamomile clay mask is made with a blend of deeply cleansing yet extremely gentle ingredients to care for your skin, including -

 French Pink Clay -  is a combination of red and white clays. It is considered to be the mildest of all the clays and works well for normal, sensitive and mature skin types. Its unique composition includes Kaolinite, Iron, Illite, Montmorillonite and Calcite. This clay is especially beneficial in cleansing and detoxifying the skin, removing dead skin cells and creating and overall refreshed appearance. It can also be used to treat acne and other skin ailments; poor blood and/or lymph circulation and sun damaged skin. 

 Kaolin Clay - A soft mineral in the form of fine-grained white clay, which is refined. Used in Face Masks to absorb excess oils and to tone and exfoliate the skin.

Chamomile - has a calming effect on the mind and body and is excellent in treating any type of inflammation - be that internal or external. On the skin it is a miracle worker, and calms red, dry and irritated skin, as well as calming allergies, eczema, psoriasis and all other flaky skin problems. It promotes granulation (healing) and is also a great tissue regenerator.

 Rose Geranium - On the skin, rose geranium oil helps to balance the secretion of sebum and clears sluggish and oily skins, while the antiseptic and cicatrisant properties make this oil an effective aid to help with burns, wounds, ulcers and other skin problems. This uplifting oil has a great all-over balancing effect and this extends to the skin - where it helps to create balance between oily and dry skin, keeping the skin supple and clearing congested skin and the emotions - where it helps to relieve feelings of stress

Directions—Put a tablespoon full of clays in a small bowl and mix with a small amount of liquid (water, rosewater, milk), adding a teaspoon at a time & blend into a smooth paste.

To make your clay mask more exfoliating, you can add a teaspoon or two of ground almonds, sugar, or my favourite, ground rice, mixing well into the paste. Apply to freshly cleansed face, leave for 15—20 mins and rinse off. Moisturize well. (Our Facial Treatment oils are the perfect acompanyment)

Your clay facial mask will dry quite tight due to the high level of pure clays, you may notice a slight reddenning of the skin after use, this is normal as the clays boost circulation to help eliminate toxins. It should dissapear soon afterwards.
