Temporary Shipping changes due to the Corona Virus restrictions

Not my usual kind of blog post but this is not a usual time we are in and as a result I've had to make some changes to how I work as we all have had to do of late.
Working alone and in a rural spot means that I am fortunate enough to have been able to keep going during this time.
As many of my creative friends and I have experienced, our days feel very different indeed. All of our selling events, craft fairs and workshops have been cancelled, the shops we supply have closed their doors and we have no idea how things will work out further down the line but for now, and for as long as we can, we are keeping going, making, creating, posting on social media and packing online orders from beautiful people like you xx.
Although our studio doors are closed, we are still working away making more of our lovely natural soaps and pampering bathing preparations for you to wash and bathe with while also processing orders regularly during this strange time.
From March 23rd, we are only shipping ordes twice per week to reduce our person to person contact and keep ourselves and others safe. This may lead to slight delays in receiving any orders you place with us. Your orders will now be despatched via a Royal Mail Customer Service point rather than the Post Office to further reduce contact and ensure effective social distancing as this drastically reduces queuing time and face to face contact.
From March 27th, Royal Mail announced significant delays in shipping parcels Internationally, particularly to the USA and Canada and are advising against shipping abroad, so we have temporarily removed international shipping to avoid dissapointment or issues arising from these delays. Once things return to a more normal situation, we will reinstate International Shipping.
UK shipping for the moment, remains relatively unaffected although parcels are taking a couple of days longer to arrive due to the volume of orders the Royal Mail are handling at the moment.
Rest assured we will do our utmost to get orders out as safely and as quickly as we can and we thank you for your patience and understanding at this challenging time.
